Original Question:
Larry Gatz asked us:
“OK—so a question… if I’m on the phone with a client and want to book them an appointment, what’s the best way to do it? Through my own calendar page? On their Contact Card? Does it matter?”
Answer:
You have a couple of options when booking an appointment for a client in Agent CRM, but the best method is to schedule it directly from their Contact Card. This keeps everything streamlined and ensures that the appointment is properly linked to their record.
How to Book an Appointment from the Contact Card
-
Open the Client’s Contact Record
- Go to Contacts → Search for and select the client’s name.
-
Click the “Appointment” Button
- In the top-right corner, click the “Add/Edit Appointment” button.
-
Choose the Date & Time
- Select the appropriate time from your calendar availability.
-
Confirm and Save
- After selecting the appointment time, click Save/Confirm to finalize the booking.
Alternative Option: Booking Through Your Calendar Page
- If you’re in a hurry, you can also direct the client to your public calendar page and have them schedule the appointment themselves.
- This can be helpful if they want to check their availability before committing.
While both methods work, booking through the Contact Card is the most efficient, as it automatically associates the appointment with the client’s profile and keeps your records organized.
