You’ve already seen AI support inside the workflow builder through the “Learn More” capability on actions and triggers.

Now we’re extending that same idea down to the individual field level—starting with smart, contextual, AI-powered tooltips that help you understand exactly what a setting does while you’re building.

This is a big step toward a workflow builder that explains itself.


✅ What’s New: AI-Powered Field Tooltips

Fields inside your workflow actions now have smarter tooltips.

When you hover over the info icon next to a field, you’ll see a quick description of what that field does.

But the real upgrade is what happens next.

Inside that tooltip, there is now an “Explain Field” call-to-action.

When you click Explain Field:

✅ The AI assistant opens instantly
✅ You get a detailed, conversational explanation of that specific field
✅ You can ask follow-up questions right away
✅ You can clarify doubts without leaving the workflow builder

In other words, instead of wondering “What does this setting do?” you can get a clear answer in the moment—while you’re building.

No tab switching.
No searching docs.
No guessing.


🧪 Currently in Experiment

Right now, this feature is live on two fields located in Advanced Settings within:

✅ Manual SMS action
✅ Manual Call action

This is the first test group.

If the results look strong—usage, engagement, reduced confusion—we’ll expand from there.

If this experiment performs the way we expect, we’ll roll AI-powered tooltips out to:

✅ More fields
✅ More actions
✅ More triggers
✅ Eventually, the entire workflow builder

The end goal is simple:
