Bruce Kuczinski Asked:
“Is there a way for me to override my available times to schedule appointments? I don’t want to have to go into settings and change the global availability to book an appointment and then have to change it back.”
The Answer
Yes! You can override your available times without adjusting your global availability settings by using one of these two simple methods:
Option 1: Block Time on Your Google Calendar
If your Google Calendar is integrated with Agent CRM, any blocked time in Google Calendar will automatically sync with Agent CRM.
Steps:
- Open Google Calendar.
- Click on the date/time you want to block.
- Create an event and set it to “Busy.”
- Save the event—Agent CRM will recognize this time as unavailable.
Option 2: Block Time in Agent CRM
You can also manually block time directly in Agent CRM’s Calendar without modifying global settings.
Steps:
- Go to Settings in Agent CRM.
- Click Calendars.
- Select the calendar you want to adjust.
- Click on the time slot you want to block and create an event.
- Ensure the event is marked “Busy.”

It sounds like you’re currently setting the appointments from your contact’s record, which is where it will only allow you to select a time within your availability.
However, if you schedule from your calendar (Scheduling > Calendar) instead, it will allow you to schedule an appointment for any time (even outside of your set availability).”
