Paul J Da Costa Asked:
“How do you add a new name to the column and to the tag list? I want to add a saved list that says ‘Not Interested.’ I can’t figure out how to make a tag and column and be able to save it in a smart list. Also, how do you get the system to save names at 100 instead of going back to 20 every time you leave the page?”
The Answer:
We understand how it can feel frustrating at first! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you add a new tag, create a smart list, and adjust your view settings:
Step 1: Adding a New Tag
- Go to Contacts:
- Navigate to the Contacts section in Agent CRM.
- Edit or Tag a Contact:
- Open the contact you want to tag.
- In the Tags field, type your new tag (e.g., “Not Interested”).
- Press Enter to save the new tag.
- Apply the Tag to Multiple Contacts:
- Use the Bulk Actions feature to select multiple contacts and add the same tag to all of them.
Step 2: Creating a Smart List
- Filter by Tag:
- Go to the Contacts section.
- Click More Filters and choose Tag as your filter.
- Select your new tag (e.g., “Not Interested”) from the dropdown menu.
- Save the Smart List:
- After applying the filter, click the Save Smart List button at the top.
- Name your smart list (e.g., “Not Interested Contacts”).
- The smart list will now appear in your Contacts section for quick access.
Step 3: Adjusting the Number of Contacts Displayed
- Change the Display Count:
- At the bottom of the Contacts page, you’ll see a dropdown menu for the number of rows displayed.
- Select 100 or your preferred number.
- Saving the View:
- Currently, the system doesn’t save the row count setting when you leave the page. However, you can provide this feedback to Agent CRM support for potential updates.
