Becky Chopek Wilson asked us, “Can you bulk assign leads? I would hate to have to indiviually assing 500 leads.”
“Yes, you can do that through the use of a tag and a trigger. Here’s what I’d recommend:
1) Go to Settings >> Tags and create a new tag. Name the tag “Team Member’s Name”
2) Go to Triggers. Create a new trigger that does the following: When the contact tag “Team Member’s Name” is added, then Assign to User >> Team Member. ** Just make sure the toggle that says “Only apply to unassigned contacts” is off.
3) Go to Contacts. Select the contacts you want to assign and click “Add Tag” on the top menu. Add that new tag and it’s done! Those contacts are assigned to the team member.”
