We’re excited to introduce Facebook Post Sync in Social Planner.

You can now sync your existing Facebook posts directly into Social Planner, so you can:

✅ manage past and future content in one place
✅ analyze performance without jumping between tools
✅ use Social Planner as a true “source of truth” for publishing + reporting

To start using this capability, you’ll need to enable it from Labs.

✅ What’s New?

🔄 Automatic Post Sync

Once enabled, Social Planner will sync your Facebook posts from the last 30 days.

Key details:

  • Posts sync from the last 30 days into Social Planner
  • Posts are synced up to the current day (UTC time)
  • Initial sync supports extended historical fetch (where available)
  • Sync runs automatically in the background

This means you don’t have to manually recreate old posts to get accurate reporting and visibility.

🕒 Daily Sync Refresh (Every 24 Hours)

After your initial import, insights refresh automatically every 24 hours.

This is designed to:

  • stay within platform API guidelines
  • keep performance stable and reliable
  • ensure your reporting stays up to date without constant manual refreshes

🖼️ Media & Content Sync (Text + Images + Video)

Sync isn’t limited to captions.

Social Planner brings in:

✅ post text
✅ images
✅ videos

Media processing includes batch handling so imports are smoother and more consistent.

Video size is supported up to platform limits.

✅ Clear Sync Status (So You Always Know What’s Happening)

To make this feature easy to trust, Social Planner now includes clear status feedback, including:

  • progress indicators during sync
  • toast notifications for success and errors
  • error messaging if Facebook access expires
  • a reconnect flow for disabled/expired accounts

You won’t be guessing whether the sync worked.

You’ll see it.

🛠️ How to Use It

To enable and run Facebook Post Sync:

  1. Go to Marketing → Social Planner → Settings
  2. Confirm your Facebook account is connected
  3. Enable Post Sync (via Labs)
  4. Allow background sync to complete
  5. View synced posts in Planner and Statistics
  6. If your account disconnects, follow the reconnect prompt to resume syncing

Once it’s on, the system does the heavy lifting.

💡 Why This Matters

This enhancement solves a real workflow gap for marketers and agencies.

Instead of having:

  • content scattered across Facebook
  • incomplete reports
  • manual re-creation of posts inside the planner
  • guesswork during onboarding or account transitions

You now get a unified view that helps you:

✅ centralize Facebook content management
✅ avoid rebuilding posts just for organization
✅ see historical performance data in one place
✅ improve reporting accuracy
✅ save time when onboarding new accounts

This is especially valuable for teams managing multiple locations or stepping into accounts that already have posting history.

Now that history doesn’t have to stay trapped inside Facebook.

🎯 Final Thought

Social Planner is no longer just for scheduling what’s next.

With Facebook Post Sync, it becomes the place you manage what’s already been posted too—along with the data that tells you what’s working.

If you want cleaner reporting, faster onboarding, and a more complete content dashboard, enable Post Sync in Labs and let your last 30 days of posts populate automatically.
