The Answer

While it’s not possible to update contact information automatically in Agent CRM, there’s a workaround using the form builder. Here’s how it works:


How It Works

  1. Create a Form for Contact Updates:
    • Use the Form Builder in Agent CRM to design a form requesting updated contact details.
    • Include fields for name, email, phone number, address, etc.
  2. Send a Text Message with the Form Link:
    • Go to Contacts and filter your leads.
    • Use the bulk action feature to send a text message with a link to your form, asking them to update their information.

    Example Message:
    “Hi {{contact.first_name}}, we’d love to update your contact info! Please click here to fill out this quick form: [Insert Link]”

  3. What Happens Next:
    • If a lead fills out the form with the same email address but a different phone number or other details, Agent CRM will create a new contact instead of updating the existing one.
    • Manually merge duplicates afterward to ensure your contact list stays clean.

Using a form ensures that you collect accurate and updated information while maintaining flexibility in managing duplicate entries.
