“I’m importing leads from my CSV file, but it’s only importing the first lead. Any suggestions?”
Answer:
If your CSV file is only importing the first lead into Agent CRM, there are a few key things to check to ensure all your contacts are successfully imported.
- Ensure Each Lead Has a Phone Number or Email Address
- Agent CRM requires that each lead has at least one contact method—either a phone number or an email address.
- If a row in your CSV file is missing both, it will not be imported.
- Correctly Map Your CSV Columns to Agent CRM Fields
- During the first step of the import process, you’ll be asked to map the columns from your CSV file to the correct fields in Agent CRM.
- Make sure the column containing email addresses is mapped to Agent CRM’s “Email” field.
- Ensure the phone number column is mapped to Agent CRM’s “Phone” field.
- Check for Formatting Issues
- If your file contains formatting errors—such as blank spaces, extra characters, or inconsistent data formatting—it may prevent the system from properly reading all rows.
- Try opening the CSV file in a spreadsheet editor (like Google Sheets or Excel) and reviewing the data structure.
By following these steps, you should be able to import all of your leads successfully. If you continue to have issues, double-check your file for missing data and verify that all fields are correctly mapped.
